NPG Wealth Management provides sophisticated private client solutions to the wealth management industry
NPG Wealth Management (NPG) today announces that Thierry Porté is to be appointed Group Chief Executive. His appointment follows the decision of Tom Fraser to step down from the post of CEO to pursue new opportunities.
Mr. Porté has many years of experience in financial services and was previously CEO of Shinsei Bank in Tokyo. He has also held various senior executive positions with Morgan Stanley.
Michel Wolter, NPG Chairman, said: "We are delighted to have Thierry Porté and his extensive managerial experience on board at NPG. He will ensure that NPG will continue on the successful growth course that it has pursued in recent years."
Thierry Porté said: "I am delighted to have been given this exciting opportunity to shape the ongoing development of NPG. I intend to build on the work of my predecessor and will focus on maintaining good, long-term relations with brokers and clients alike."
To assist Thierry Porté, Clive Griffiths is to be appointed General Manager of NPG’s insurance operations. Mr. Griffiths has a long track record within the life insurance industry dating back over 30 years. Since 1996, Mr. Griffiths has carried out senior financial, strategic and operational roles at several Luxembourg based life companies and has been with NPG since 2007.
